Anxiety Girls Anonymous

Anxiety, Panic Attacks and Depression are more common in women than in men because we are, by nature, more emotional. I began to suffer from the grip of anxiety 15 years ago. I have experienced every possible symptom and fear anxiety has to offer! I endured being rejected from my family for having such an "embarrassing and shameful" issue. I endured fear of driving from panic attacks hitting me behind the wheel. I endured the loss of friendships due to this beast. But I NEVER lost my faith and God never left me! I am here to encourage, inspire and help in any way possible! If you need to vent, please do! If you need encouragement, please ask! I am a Christian and will offer faith-filled inspirations and help techniques. You are NOT alone with this condition! Please, never think that no one else has been in your shoes.

"For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control." 2 Timothy 1:7.

99-Year-Old Lady Sews A Dress A Day For Children In Need

Lillian Weber, a 99-year-old good Samaritan from Iowa, has spent the last few years sewing a dress a day for the Little Dresses For Africa charity, a Christian organization that distributes dresses to children in need in Africa and elsewhere.

Weber’s goal is to make 1,000 dresses by the time she turns 100 on May 6th. So far, she’s made more than 840. Though she says she could make two a day, she only makes one – but each single dress she makes per day is personalized with careful stitchwork. She hopes that each little girl who receives her dress can take pride in her new garment.

The mind is everything; what you think, you become.
Sometimes what you’re most afraid of doing is the very thing that will set you free.

The Lord is stirring up my heart in tremendous ways. Saying no to satan, not even letting him get a word in. And trusting God wholeheartedly. It’s an every day, every moment battle to trust God. But I’m more than willing to fight & can’t wait to see what He has planned next. {quote by Restore International}

I needed to see this. I’ve been attacked by relentless spirits of fear, terror, doom and unbelief for a few months now and I finally realized that I needed to start rebuking the enemy and proclaiming the truth of Christ over my life again! After I prayed and rebuked, I felt the anxiety start to lift and ever since, each day has been a slow improvement with my panic attacks and fear attacks. As Christians, we HAVE HAVE HAVE to keep ourselves grounded in God’s truth and keep our minds focused on Christ. We must bring every thought captive to Christ. It is incredibly hard, especially when your mind is not disciplined in that area…but you will begin to find improvement in the anxiety/panic disorder. :)
